Heaven Is My Throne and The Earth Is My Footstool

“Thus says the Lord, ‘Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest?’”
Isaiah 66:1

Praise God, for we show our Lord that we believe heaven is His throne when we come to worship at His footstool.

We bless our Father, Who is seated in heaven, when we draw near to worship at His footstool on earth.

God sits upon His throne in heaven, and we are the ones who are so privileged and blessed to exalt Him at His footstool on earth.

If God is this big, how could any building ever contain Him?

Yet God has come to dwell in our hearts, “Immanuel, God with us” (Matthew 1:23), and we are invited to “go into His dwelling place” to “worship at His footstool” (Psalm 132:7).

Through the New Covenant blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we have been made a kingdom of priests (Revelation 1:5-6), and the presence of our Lord is now within us. When we worship, as priests, at God’s footstool, this is a most beautiful and purely renewing form of our abiding in Christ.

Heaven and earth become connected for us, in God’s presence, when we worship our heavenly Father at His footstool.

I hope you see this, receive this, practice this, and are continuously transformed in God’s presence through this blessed truth. You bless your Abba Father when you worship at His footstool and you say to your God, “Come Lord, and let me be Your humble resting place. My heart is prepared for You O Lord., according to Your Own Word, and I worship at Your footstool. O bless Your Holy Name my Lord God.”

Yes. Bless God at His footstool and let heaven fill your mind. Hallelujah!
